Master Haoqing Liu, founder and director of Escuela Superior Chikung-Taichi Madrid, began his training in childhood in Hangzhou, China, under the guidance of his father Liu Yin Sheng, a direct student of the great master Niu Chunming. After decades of study with renowned masters of the Yang and Chen schools, he developed the Chikung-Taichi System, a method that integrates traditional Tai Chi practice with Taoist health arts and preventive medicine.

Training and studies

Master Haoqing Liu began practicing Tai Chi Chuan in early childhood in his hometown of Hangzhou, in Zhejiang province, under the guidance of his father Liu Yin Sheng. In addition to being a direct student of the great master Niu Chunming, his father was also highly skilled in the Taoist health practices traditionally known as Yang Sheng, transmitting to him from an early age a strong foundation in this family tradition.

For decades, the master continued refining his technique and training under the direct guidance of highly respected teachers such as Lin Jin Fu and Chen Song Hai, direct successors of the teachings of the great master Niu Chunming in the Yang style.

His motivation and constant interest in deepening and elevating the quality of his practice also led him to establish close contact with renowned masters such as Liu Chengde, a student of Hong Jun Sheng, and even with Hong Jun Sheng himself, in order to study the technical specialization of Tui Shou ('Pushing Hands') from the Chen School. He also trained with master Cao Zhu Hua, disciple of Jiang Yu Kun, student of the great master Yang Cheng Fu and creator of the Tai Chi Sword format, in order to master this art.

In his professional trajectory, he was also honored to be invited in 1979 to collaborate as a doctor and Chikung master in the prestigious Jiu San Society.

This complete set of practices enabled him to create his 'Chikung-Tai Chi System', a form of preventive medicine, as well as to publish original scientific articles in the European Journal of Integrative Medicine in 2016 and 2018, together with a book presented on Amazon and a complete video on YouTube.
